The purpose of all our youth programs is to support families and reinforce the Biblical teachings taking place at home. Together as a church family, we seek to train up our children in the way they should go, so even when they are old, they will not depart from it (Prov. 22:6).
Sunday Children’s Programs
We believe that the children are a vital part of church body life and therefore include them in our adult worship service each week before dismissing them to age appropriate activities.’
- We have a nursery and toddler room staffed by a rotating group of warm and attentive people from the body. As our babies grow into toddlers, we encourage them to listen to stories, color and play.
- PreK-1st grade children also enjoy playtime, worship, stories, and snacks. This class is run by a rotating team of loving and energetic teachers.
- Our 2nd – 5th graders are taught by a rotating team of creative, engaging and inspiring teachers who strive to make the Bible come alive to our children through props, crafts, skits and story-telling.
- Our Junior High and High School classes are lead by several passionate, young-at-heart leaders who skillfully speak the truth and love of Jesus to our teens while often standing on their heads and juggling donuts at the same time.
Weekly Youth Ministries
On alternating Monday evenings, Young Life led by our own Karl Tucker meets at his house at 7:30pm so that our students learn about God, develop their faith to be richer and deeper reaching, and have a blast while doing it.
Once a month there is also a Friday evening study for Junior High Girls currently led by Emily Ullyot at her home.
